Among the list of accolades the Portland Metro area has received, being the nations ”greenest city” is one that greatly defines the caring nature of the people you’ll find here.  

With Sherwood being one of the most desirable suburbs, it’s only natural that we contribute to the education and celebration of a better way of living.  As residents and Realtors of Sherwood, Gardner Team Real Estate values that the “Business of Old Town Sherwood (BOOTS)” has created an event where the residents of Sherwood can enjoy a fun day while at the same time adding to the quality of life people have come expect here.  This is after all the heart of our future and having this event at the heart of Sherwood in Old Town is a perfect touch. 

This Saturday, April 24th we celebrated Green Day in Old Town and with a few snapshots, I’ve put together an online scrapbook to remember the day. 

Committed to giving back and supporting our community, Gardner Team Real Estate was proud to sponsor one of the main events, the bike carnival in the U.S. Bank parking lot. We also partnered with our local bike shop Willamette Cycling in Sherwood where together we raffled off an awesome free-style bike which was on display inside Old Town US Bank the week prior and at The Gardner Team booth during the Green Day event.  The lucky winner will have their photo taken when they pick up their bike this week at our John L. Scott office.  We will be posting that here soon. 

We also gave away nearly 200 “green friendly” reusable shopping bags to people who came by our booth.  It was a fun day!
