This year will mark the 6th annual Relay for Life Event in Sherwood, Oregon. A fun filled overnight event that will be held this weekend - Saturday, August 7th starting at 10:00 AM and running through Sunday, August 8th at 10:00 AM at the Sherwood High School Track and Field.

Relay for Life is the signature community event for the American Cancer Society, and a life changing event that through fundraising, sponsorship, participation and volunteerism we all come together and for one mission: To celebrate, remember, fight back and raise money to support research and programs that make a difference in the fight against cancer.
As proud community members, The Gardner Team is honored to be Gold Sponsors of this years Relay for Life event in our hometown. We are also very excited to be a part of “Team Top Gun” who we can’t thank enough for all their committed efforts – our friends and generous team sponsors who are all so amazing and have truly made a difference and this years experience so memorable.

We also want to thank all the people and business who have contributed their time, resources, raised money, and supported ALL the teams out there for this great cause. And our friend, a cancer survivor who introduced us to Relay for Life in Sherwood in 2005 which we also proudly sponsored as a participant.
Here’s a quote my team Captain shared, “Cancer is a word, not a sentence” – I believe that. I also understand first hand it’s something that can happen to anyone at any time. This is one more reason our family will be out there day and night this weekend and year after year, Relaying for the people we know, the people we love, because we care and because we can.
